01.11.2021

According to the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt, two Belarusian minors are among the victims of food poisoning in Hurghada, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

“They are stable and have been receiving the necessary medical care. It is expected that Belarusian tourists will be discharged from the hospital soon,” the ministry said.

Forty Russian tourists suffered food poisoning in a four-star hotel in the Red Sea resort town of Hurghada, Egypt, BelTA reported earlier citing Russia's TASS news agency. The prosecutor's office has ordered the closure of the hotel for violating the sanitary safety rules. All tourists have been accommodated at other hotels.
