Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Vladimir Pertsov Information Minister of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Vladimir Pertsov Information Minister of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

Vladimir Pertsov served as Director of the Belarusian office of the international television and radio company MTRK Mir.

Vladimir Pertsov was born in Vitebsk in 1974.

He graduated from Masherov Vitebsk State University in 1996 and the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2007.

Vladimir Pertsov was editor at the Vitebsk Oblast TV and Radio Asociation in 1995-1999 and editor-in-chief of the oblast radio of the Vitebsk Oblast TV and Radio Association in 1999-2002.

Vladimir Pertsov led the Grodno Oblast TV and Radio Association in 2002-2003 and served as Director of the Grodno TV and Radio Company in 2003-2008.

From 2008 to 2010 he was Director of the Broadcasting Directorate of RTR Belarus TV Channel of Stolichnoye Televideniye.

Vladimir Pertsov was appointed Director of the Belarusian office of the international television and radio company MTRK Mir in 2010.
