Another batch of international aid to combat COVID-19 arrives in Belarus
Another batch of international aid to combat COVID-19 arrived in Belarus on 26 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has donated dexamethasone in tablets and vials, which is prescribed for patients with pneumonia and respiratory failure. The total supply is $387,280.
The medications will be distributed to inpatient facilities across the regions of Belarus and will be used to treat both coronavirus patients and patients with other diseases, including children.
UNICEF also plans another shipment of personal protective equipment worth over $400,000 before the end of the year.
