Belarus stays committed to mutually beneficial military cooperation, Chief of the General Staff of Belarus' Armed Forces Major-General Viktor Gulevich said at a briefing for military attaches to mark the upcoming Day of Fatherland Defenders and the Armed Forces, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
“The Republic of Belarus stays committed to the course towards mutually beneficial military cooperation, participation together with other states in the implementation of established international mechanisms to ensure global and regional security. The country pursues a clear and predictable military policy, while its Armed Forces, being the foundation of the military security of the state, are well prepared and equipped, loyal to the Motherland and able to neutralize both externally and domestically emerging threats.
According to him, Belarusians are ready to contribute to the maintenance of international peace and security, the restoration of broken ties and are always open to such interaction.
