Lukashenko congratulates Sabalenka on defending Australian Open title

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated member of the Belarusian national tennis team Aryna Sabalenka on her victory in the Australian Open, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

"I congratulate you on the confident win and defending the Australian Open title. Winning the Grand Slam tournament is a huge personal achievement, a matter of national pride, a great incentive and an example for thousands of children in Belarus and around the world. I thank everyone involved in this triumph. I wish you good health and new successes," the congratulatory message reads.
